Over the summer of 2023, I worked with the Southern Poverty Law Center as a Creative Intern. During my time working, I worked on merchandise designs, social media, and publication design. With the work I produced I utilized elements of illustration and digital collage and gained experience in working a remote full-time role.
Merchandise Design
Objective: Create merchandise for the online SPLC store that incorporates themes and images of civil rights and social justice.
Publication Design
Objective: Design a One World poster for SPLC’s publication Learning For Justice. Create a design that incorporates this quote from civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer.
