Moogseum

Design a cross-promotional piece of advertising that includes a print and video component. This project will promote an event, organization, or cause. This poster must encompass two of the following topics—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math.

The Moogseum, a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of Bob Moog, was the organization chosen for this project. This poster created for the Moogseum was made with the intent to increase the amount of visitors at the museum and to bring awareness to Bob Moog’s career, the technology he developed, and his legacy. The call of action of this poster is to visit the museum and interact hands-on with the synthesizers Bob Moog made. Three key words to describe this poster are inviting, musical, and retro.

This poster was developed and finalized using the application Adobe Illustrator. The design of the synthesizer and soundwaves were inspired by videos of Bob Moog demonstrating the Moog. Once the design of the poster was complete, it was taken into AfterEffects to be animated.
